This family estate is situated atthe heart of the famous Medoc region and is made up of 21 hectares of vines. Although attentive to technical develoments, the wine is made in a traditional way using pumping-over and temperature control. A post-fermentation maceration which lasts three weeks follows fermentation. The Winemaker's Notes: "...as we can not make good wine without having good grapes we take particular care with our vinegrowing whilst at the same time respecting the environment. For over 20 years we have encouraged grass growth between the vine rows and have practiced sustainable agriculture. We apply great attention and care in the winery to produce a wine which is as natural as possible."
This wine is a brilliant ruby red colour. The nose is powerful, particularly with red fruit aromas. On the palate the attack is soft and round followed by a good tannic structure.
